ACS&T extend Kwoks partnership

ACS&T Logistics, the UK’s leading provider of frozen-food transport and storage, has recently extended its working partnership with Kwoks Foods, the UK manufacturer of Oriental ready meals, for another 2 years.
Under the terms of a new contract, ACS&T has extended the range of services it provides to Kwoks and will now handle the storage for both their ambient and frozen ingredients and packaging materials, together with daily, just in time deliveries to their Grimsby factory.
Led by ACS&T Customer Account Manager, Sara Olivant, the ACS&T Production Support division will be working closely with Kwoks Foods to manage both their ambient and frozen ingredient and packaging supplies and to provide a factory feed delivery service using a dedicated shuttle.
Their efforts are supported by ACS&T’s leading-edge, web-based IT system, which provides immediate access for all parties to live information regarding stock levels and deliveries. The team works to same delivery for over 80 separate ambient stock lines and 100 frozen lines with a four hour turnaround as standard.
Kwoks Foods’ Steve Ross explains the decision to extend their agreement:

ACS&T Logistics is divided into three operating divisions: Temperature Controlled, Production Support and Complete Packing. Its services are provided from four centres: Grimsby (Headquarters), Wolverhampton, Tewkesbury and Scarborough. The business currently operates 14 cold stores, 3 ambient stores, extensive co-packing facilities and large, dedicated and shared-user multi-temp transport fleets. ACS&T is accredited to ISO 9001:2000 and hold BRC Storage and Distribution certification at all of its working sites.
