True Grit

February 12, 2010

Despite January’s terrible weather, which produced the worst driving conditions most of us can remember, we’re delighted to report that ACS&T exceed its delivery targets. In excess of 95% of our deliveries reached their destinations on time. It’s a tremendous achievement of which ACS&T’s Managing Director, Malcolm Johnstone, is justly proud.

“I would like to extend a big thank you to everyone at ACS&T who made an extra effort to get to work this January. Our drivers have braved some terrible conditions to ensure that customers got their deliveries on time, and it is a testament to their professionalism that they did not let the weather stop them.”

At ACS&T we pride ourselves on the reliability of our service and our customer focus. We’re thrilled that, so far, we have been able to maintain our high standards despite challenging conditions.”

Colin Jenkinson, Associate Director – Customer Supply at McCain Foods said….

“The performance of ACS&T during this period has been exemplary; the weather conditions have created a greater demand for our products which put even more pressure on our supply chain.”

Stuart Warburton, Supply Chain Controller at 3663 First for Foodservice said...

“Whereas the weather has stopped many manufacturers from getting hold of supplies, we didn’t have a single operational failure thanks to ACS&T’s efforts. We rely on ACS&T to handle over 1500 product lines for us, and it could have been very costly had our logistics service been disrupted.”
