In conjunction with our partners, we have developed an Internet based facility for all of our customers. Though this facility was originally created to deliver simple stock information, it has been vastly developed to provide customers with the ability to interact with our own leading edge IT systems.
Our Internet reports operate on a common platform and allow manufacturers to access a range of information with the most basic and inexpensive forms of IT hardware and software. As long as our customers have Internet facilities, they can work with our system. All our customers are able to query details regarding stock availability and movement across all of our stores.
Our service is provided completely free of charge to all customers, and provides massive improvements in the quality and efficiency of order information, as well as eliminating the need for faxes and reducing the time and costs involved in communication.
The main advantage, however, is that information is provided on a real-time basis, allowing a management team to make better-informed decisions. This in turn improves stock availability and reduces stock holding costs.
